Today was an unusually humorous day in class. I mean, some days are kind of drabby, some days are kind of tense (like when I haven’t been called on in a while — there’s this particularly loathsome, repugnant relief the day after you get called, as though your execution has been miraculously stayed by an Order from the Governor. It’s repugnant because you know that the poor, sweet, but misguided girl sitting next to you is going to be called next. Schadenfreude, but sort of, like, in reverse. (Eh, would that be empathy?))

Anyhow. To the funny stuff.*

“The lawyer gets to sit at home watching ESPN while Milton is out making big rocks into little rocks.”

– Prof. Leipold

“I was punched in the nose. What’s your privilege? Um, to not be punched in the nose?”

– Prof. Meyer

* This may only be funny to you if you were in the class at the time.
